AND it’s free until March 1st 🫶🏻 Start your mornings early. The beach at sunrise is quiet, cool, and calm. It’s my favorite time of day here. Let the kids run before the crowds show up. Grab coffee and pastries after. Our go-to morning spots: • Black Bear Bread Co. in Seaside or Grayton • Fonville Press • Raw & Juicy in Alys or Grayton • Charlie’s Delights for donuts • Pecan Jacks Ice Cream & Candy Kitchen for afternoon ice cream Very important: check your beach access before you arrive. Many beaches along 30A are private. Confirm your rental has deeded access or know the nearest public access point ahead of time. It makes a huge difference during spring break week. For parks and open space, we love the greens in Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, and the amphitheater lawn in Seaside. Bring toys or a ball and let them roam. Family friendly dinners where kids can still move: • The Bay • Seaside food trucks like Pickle’s and The Meltdown are our favs • Amigos 30A Mexican Kitchen • Idyll Hounds Brewing Company where there’s often live music in the green space If you sneak away for a date night, book: • Cafe Thirty-A • Borago • Oku • Pescado And honestly, the best days here are simple. Bike rides. Sunset beach hangs. Ice cream walks. Slow mornings and early dinners. You do not need to over plan 30A. The silk road of Lululemon that travels from Nashville to 30A each Spring Break has begun. If you listen closely, you can hear the pitter patter of Golden Goose and clank of Stanley cups as they migrate South for a brief, spray tanned orange vacation amongst the exact same people they live next to. The home is located in the heart of Seacrest Beach (between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach) at the end of a safe culdesac. This is our sixth time traveling to 30A and our fourth year staying at Anchors Away 30A in Seacrest Beach. We HIGHLY recommend it! It feels like home away from home. But first, what is 30A? The Observer says, “30A is actually a county road on the Emerald Coast of the Florida Panhandle, which boasts a series of small, unique beach towns, including Seaside, Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach. Think of 30A is the Southeast’s answer to the Hamptons.” One of those beach towns called “Seaside” was the location where the movie, The Truman Show, was filmed - if you want a feel for the picturesque vibe! Our family is a huge fan of the area and recommends it as a top beach vacation spot for families! Save this post if you want to travel here in the future ✔️✔️
