⚖️ Section 352 – Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 Section 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 deals with the offence of intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace. As per this provision, whoever intentionally insults any person, and such insult is likely to give provocation to that person, intending or knowing that such provocation will cause him to break the public peace or commit any other offence, shall be punishable under this section. 🔎 Essential Ingredients of the Offence: 1. There must be an intentional insult. 2. The insult must give provocation to the person insulted. 3. The accused must intend or know that such provocation is likely to cause breach of peace or commission of an offence. ⚠️ Mere abuse or casual quarrel is not sufficient unless there is clear intention and likelihood of disturbance of public peace. 📌 Punishment: Simple imprisonment which may extend to 1 year, or with fine, or with both. Section 375: Will or Force?),[4][5] better known simply as Section 375, is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language legal thriller film directed by Ajay Bahl, written by Manish Gupta and produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak.[6][7] It is based on Section 375 of the Indian Penal Code.[8][9] [10][11] The film stars Akshaye Khanna, Richa Chadda, Meera Chopra and Rahul Bhat.[12] Principal photography of the film began in January 2019. Notable film director Rohan Khurana is arrested and convicted by a sessions court after assistant costume designer Anjali Dangle accuses him of rape. In the High Court, senior and talented criminal barrister Tarun Saluja works hard to punch holes in the accuser's claims, while Hiral Gandhi, a utopian and fervent lawyer fighting her first big case, who was once Saluja's trainee, serves as the prosecutor and defence barrister of the claimed victim.
