Why would you build a path which is accessible and leave steps at the end which easily could have been ramped. I’m not entirely sure if this is an oversight or “protect building” argument, but this seems so easy to fix. The longer route drained my battery even more, although it was less steep for manual wheelchair users. The staff were amazing and let me charge my chair and were super friendly. It’s a shame half the building wasn’t accessible though, even though they had lifts. I wouldn’t recommend going as a wheelchair user, but they aren’t going to put that on their website. #wheechair #london #access #inaccessible #annoying
