It’s not a bad thing but you can see that the 50 stroke is very different to the 100 stroke and it requires specificity in training to adapt to the right stroke for speed over the specific distance. Of course this is accentuated as they are swimming with Kaatsu bands at the end of a practice but it’s good for being able to see what is occuring. Adding more ghost notes in between produces a more complex and interesting rhythm, which you can at the beginning of my track "Mental Web". With this exercise, you can learn how to combine a rhythmic figure/ostinato in 5 subdivisions ("P-S-P-P-S", P for Played note, S for Silence) with a rhythmic figure/ostinato in 7 subdivisions (P-S-P-P-S-P-S). Just sewed up the chanterelle pants by @sewliberated in a corduroy-adjacent cotton fabric that I love. These pants are a nice addition to my wardrobe: comfy elastic waist, roomy in the hips and thigh, slight balloon shape to the legs accentuated by a tapered ankle. Had to add a side zip because my waist to hip measurement is 🍑 but that’s normal for me with pull-up pants like this. The crotch is strangely high on these- I would lower maybe an inch next time (instructions suggest you trim crotch seam down for comfort so I feel like they already know it’s a bit too high- trimming it was helpful but I can still feel it between my legs which isn’t ideal). Love the deep pockets and general roomy fit. Would love to make again in a lighter weight wool! 💙❤️🤍
