🍿🎥🎬 Join us this Sunday, February 1, for a cozy two special movie screening hosted by Hamazkayin’s Pomegranate Film Festival at 50 Hallcrown Place! The first screening, at 5 p.m., will be A Winter’s Song, the Gala Film and winner of the Golden POM of the 2025 POM Festival. This romantic comedy sets place in the backdrop of Christmas in Armenia and features a cast that includes singer Krista Marina and comedian Kev Orkian. The second screening, at 7 p.m., will be Monsieur Aznavour, a previous Best Feature Film winner at the Pomegranate Film Festival. Nominated for 4 César awards, this film chronicles the life and career of legendary Franco-Armenian artist Charles Aznavour. The movie is in French, but will have English subtitles. Movie tickets can be purchased online at www.pomegranatefilmfestival.com for $25 each, or if you’d like to see both films, email [email protected] for double-feature pricing ($40 for both). Kernels popcorn, Krispy Kreme donuts and water will be available for sale before the start of each movie. All proceeds will go directly to the 2026 Telethon fundraising event.
