Preparei um post para ilustrar um dos tipos de Affordance. Affordance? WTF?? Affordance é a capacidade de algo ser reconhecido e utilizado sem a necessidade de uma explicação prévia. Um dos exemplos clássicos é o da maçaneta de uma porta. Nós não precisamos de uma explicação para saber que ao girá-la podemos abrir a porta. No caso do zíper de uma embalagem, entendemos que ao puxar uma lingüeta indicada, a embalagem irá abrir, assim como acontece quando puxamos o zíper de um blusão ou de uma mochila. Existem 4 tipos de Affordances: Explícito, Padrão, Oculto e Metafórico. O exemplo do zíper da caixa de Polenguinho se enquadra no tipo de affordance Padrão (ou convencional), ou seja, ele é baseado em experiências anteriores. Diversas embalagens utilizam a affordance do zíper para que o consumidor saiba como abrir a embalagem sem encontrar dificuldades. Outro conceito importante que está ligada à affordance são os signifiers (significantes), que são símbolos que indicam sua funcionalidade. No exemplo da embalagem, podemos ver os picotes que se parecem com o zíper, mas poderia ser apenas um desenho também. Juntos esses elementos do Design fazem com que uma interface, seja ela física ou digital, se torne intuitiva para o consumidor/usuário. Eu diria também que o reconhecimento de algo também pode estar ligado à Heurística de Nielsen n⁰2: Correspodência entre o sistema e o mundo real, ou seja, é da natureza humana encontrar conforto naquilo que lhe parece familiar. Se você sabe como um zíper funciona, provavelmente ao ver algo semelhante em outros objetos, saberá como vai utilizá-lo. #uxdaquestão #uxdq_affordances #affordance #usabilidade
