I can't even describe how happy I was ... after reading all your nonsense comments schooling me like a toddler on the order of the rainbow ... to find this gem of a comment on my feed Violet has always swapped the blue and purple and she was SO happy to see someone else paint it the way she sees it And just like that I no longer feel bad for making all your grown adults cry and complain in my comments section over something so frivolous And I'm not saying it doesn't legitimately bother some people! But self soothe. Please. I am not responsible for 8B peoples emotions. Thanks! 💜 #rainbowart #iloverainbows #violet

Reunited after two months 😭🤍 With all the uncertainty we’ve had over the past months, the only thing that’s remained constant for our kids has been the love and consistency from their teachers. Teachers who were in different time zones, waking up at 4am to do online sessions, teachers home schooling their own kids and still showing up for ours, teachers with their own TODDLERS hanging off them, not having slept with alerts the previous night but laughing and singing with our kids first thing in the morning. I don’t even have the words for it, but teachers are truly superheroes 😭 I was so stressed about sending the kids back to school but @redwood.jumeirahpark hosted a play date for us and watching Ayleen run to Miss Nour was beyond emotional. How could I ever not feel safe leaving Ayleen in HER arms & it wasn’t just Ayleen, I watched the way every single kid’s face LIT up seeing her 🥺 @theynamedmenour we’re so lucky to have you 🥲 Whenever you see your teachers this week, just remember to thank them and let them know how incredible they really are 🤍 Thank you @khdadubai & @moeuaeofficial for reassuring us that everything will be okay 🙏

You will never see the school system the same after this.. Not because it’s “evil.” But because it was designed for a different era. Modern schooling was heavily shaped in the early 1900s during the industrial boom. Large foundations including Rockefeller-backed initiatives helped standardise education. The goal? Efficiency Uniform curriculum Workforce preparation Scalable systems And for that time… it made sense But here’s the question most parents never stop to ask: Does a factory-era model serve modern children? Does standardisation nurture curiosity? Does sitting still for 6–7 hours build adaptability? Does memorisation equal intelligence? I’m not attacking teachers I’m not shaming parents I’m encouraging awareness Because when you understand how something was built… you get to decide whether it still aligns with your family. And that’s where power lives Not in outrage In informed choice Listen to the audio Research it yourself Think critically Sovereignty starts there 🤎 SAVE this if it expanded your perspective 💌 SHARE with a parent who values independent thinking 🦋 FOLLOW @ashgermon for families learning differently Much love, Ash 💛

When public schools were shut down in Virginia after Brown v. Board of Education, it was done to avoid integration. Black students lost up to 5 years of schooling while “choice” policies redirected public money into segregated private schools. Before we repeat history, we should probably understand it. #history #publicschool #teachersofinstagram #texasteachers #voucher

We come at our homeschooling journey for the glory of God. Everyone’s journey will look and be different. But, in the moment I needed help, God provided an answer. Not before I needed it. Not after. Right in the very season we needed help. But that aside, schooling is pretty easy K-5 and even into 7th and 8th grade. It’s so fun and amazing watching your kids learn new things and grasp things that maybe they once found challenging. But I’m here to say you are enough. There are sooooo many helpful resources to help you and your kids both succeed. Let me know if this was helpful or if you have any other questions!! #homeschool

Amazingly, this fin whale can double its size in one gulp 🐋 #EuronewsGreen 📹 by @nuttynulty Known as gulp-feeders, these whales are generalist feeders, their main food items being krill and small schooling fish. The second largest creatures in our oceans after the blue whale, fin whales take these huge gulps to squeeze the water out through its rack of baleen filters to capture krill. Watch this fin whale increase its mouth gape by expanding the grooves on the underside of its jaw. ✨From Scaling to Schooling! ✨🦷➡️📚 When I’m not busy cleaning and scaling teeth, you can find me at the dining room table tackling math , science, and history with my favorite first grader!🥰 Yes, that’s right I’m a homeschooling mom! 🍎 After a decade in corporate dentistry and welcoming my preemie during the pandemic, I knew the “back-and-forth” chaos of traditional schooling and running 🏃♀️ a business wasn’t going to cut it anymore. Moving into my own practice as an RDHAP gave me the autonomy to stop racing against the clock and start spending it where it matters most.🫶 Now, instead of just rushing through the day, we get: ✨ Midday field trips (the best kind of “office hours”)🗺️🧭 ✨ Extra quality time for my “extra special” kiddo 👧 ✨ Driving lessons with my high schooler 🚗 Whether I’m checking for plaque or checking math homework, I’m loving every chaotic, minute of this journey. It’s a lot of hats to wear, but the view from the dining room table is worth it. 💖 Have you ever homeschooled?? Ever considered RDHAP Let’s chat in the comments! 👇 #RDHAP #HomeschoolMom #DentalLife #Mompreneur WorkLifeBalance FirstGradeHomeschool

1. I’ve been working self employed as a photographer since I was 16. I completed mandatory schooling up to 9th grade then took a different path. 2. I moved to Zurich on my own when I was 16. 3. I got married a week after my 21st birthday in my hometown and a year later we celebrated again with a wedding in Tuscany. 4. I became a mom at 22 (a few weeks ago) and it completely flipped my world in the best way. 5. We have a little dachshund named Carlos (he’s my firstborn). 6. Home is a loose concept for me. I live in Zurich, Switzerland but I’m away for work nearly half the time. 7. I hated „The Office“ at first but now it’s my comfort show. 8. I used to be terrified of driving. Turns out it wasn’t just nerves (I’m basically blind in one eye.) Even now with glasses I still hate it but at least now I don’t feel like I’m about to die. 9. Honestly… even riding a bike scares me. I think I’m just generally terrified of the streets. 🥲 10. My favorite place is Tuscany, my favorite city is Paris, and my favorite country is Costa Rica.

This felt SO good. Ruby was awesome today in our 1.30m schooling round 🧡 We are adjusting to some new training approaches we’re trying, like rebalancing him on the move and at speed instead of compromising his stride and speed shortly after each fence…and it’s working! We didn’t over-add anywhere, we were flowing & going, and most importantly, we weren’t fighting!! I didn’t get dragged. Didn’t get pulled. I let him shine where he’s most comfortable, which is on the go 🏎️💨 I couldn’t care less about the 2 rails early in the course, as his confidence continued to grow throughout the rest of the round & so did mine. I believe in this horse & his potential so very much. I believe that talking to him through the course helps his confidence & deepens our connection as well 🙏🏼 Excited for the rest of the week! #equestrian #equestrianlife #equestriansofinstagram #horsetok #hunterjumper #showjumping #horsejumping #povride #horsegirl #adultammy #horsesofinstagram #horseshow #horseshowlife

In vulnerable communities such as Syria, returnees are going back to areas where the schooling system is almost non-existent after years of war. Essential aspects of awareness that are usually taught in schools are missing, adding to the vulnerabilities of children in communities still recovering from the impacts of war and displacement. At INARA’s safe spaces, we provide children with “Body Safety” sessions to help them understand how to protect their personal boundaries and report any possible form of abuse. Alongside our medical interventions in Syria, mental health and awareness remain a core objective of our work. Learn more: inara.org/syria
