Today’s episode of gettem right or run the call at night, existing line sets. We are now running into a time where we are doing change outs on existing mini-split systems. Systems are becoming cheaper to replace vs the cost of repair and it gets them back under a warranty. Locked out... The GFI tripped at some point for the heat trace, the drain pipe froze and broke. The heat was also locked out. Gas pressure good, flame sensor clean. Started 5 out 5 restarts. This is my first time trying out @kroiloriginal Super Lube. It's a multi purpose grease that contains something I've never heard of called Syncolon. From what I understand it's a combination of micro powders that protects against friction and rust. #hvac #hvacservice #bearinggrease #heatservice #hvaceducation

Another track and short... This time it was a terminal block. Snow/moisture infiltration and dust/dirt creating a path to ground. Took out a fuse and a board. Pulled out the Magjumper from @supco_hvac which in certain applications I prefer over alligator clips. #hvac #hvacservice #hvaceducation #hvacknowledge #heatingservice

Today I got to play "find the leak" that the original install company couldn't. These folks called the install company out 3 times for them not to find a leak. They just kept topping off the 410a. Finally after being told "its the homeowners fault" and being quoted thousands for a leak search and fix conveniently right outside their one year labor warranty. They called me. I did the work, I found the leak, now I will recharge and have this unit running for at least another decade and a half. Just because a company is big doesn't mean their kindergarten team knows what theyre doing. #realhvac #hvaccontractor
