The screening will be held in Davis Concert Hall. You can buy tickets at Outdoor Adventures (in the SRC). Tickets are $15 for students and $20 for public. Reflection: Alaskan Frontier | Side Trails – Day 3 Day 3 brought a shift in pace. Steady rain and overcast skies settled in, adding a quiet calm to the landscape. We kept moving through it all and the team was rewarded with fresh moose and wolf tracks—an unexpected highlight to follow the prints of a wolf, hoping for a glimpse. This trip continued to be an ideal proving ground for Baffin’s latest hiking line—the Terrain Collection. Designed for versatility, the boots were put through full-day treks on uneven trails, cold stream crossings, and loose, sandy terrain, and they held up exceptionally well. Through rain, mud, and debris, Baffin’s kept my feet protected and comfortable across long, demanding days. Alaska isn’t just an adventure for us—it’s where product gets proven. And so far, the Terrain Collection is meeting every challenge head-on. Day 4 coming up.

Reflection: Alaskan Frontier | Side Trails – Day 2 (Afternoon) The afternoon delivered a full dose of Alaska’s unpredictability. Misty coastal winds and sudden rain, all rolled through as we kept moving. Every shift in weather and terrain—from soft sand to rocky paths and open grasslands—added another layer to the Real-World Testing experience. One of the most memorable moments of the trip came when @blakemoynes and I took a polar plunge into the icy, grizzly-inhabited waters. Cold doesn’t begin to describe it—but coming back out to high spirits made it all worth it. We wrapped the day around a beachside fire, taking a moment to slow down and reflect. Warmed by the flames, waves crashing nearby, and CUSH on foot, it was one of those rare moments of gratitude and camaraderie you only get in places like this. Day 3 is on the horizon—and there’s more frontier still to explore.

Woah… My film ‘Paddling Under Giants’ got accepted to Banff Film Festival in Canada this fall. It’s a 20 minute short film about the beauty of old-growth in Tongass National Forest, Alaska, which is showcased through my week-long kayaking trip through the region. I’m incredibly proud of this project and what it stands for, and most certainly couldn’t have done it without the help of @colin_arisman , @elsa_sea_bass, and the help of our two sponsors @wildernesssociety & @hyperlite_mountain_gear . It’s world debut will be at Banff on November 8th, and will be released to you all shortly after! SO psyched!!! 🌎🏔️
