Have you heard of this hidden gem hike in West Virginia? Welcome to Cranny crow overlook just 30 minutes from Wardensville, West Virginia. It’s located in the Lost River State Park and here you’ll find a stone hut sitting on the edge of a cliff with one of the most amazing mountain views in the state! There’s an almost heaven sign perfectly placed for photo ops and tons of wildlife that you’ll pass along the way. The hike itself is about 4 miles with 971ft of elevation gain. The hike is rated as moderate difficulty and takes most people about 2 hours. When you’re in the area make sure to check out Lost River Pizza & Provisions (@lostandfoundlrv )and Lost River Butcher Block (@teets_cattle_company ) for some amazing pre and post hike fuel.
