It was great seeing a lot of familiar faces and connecting with some new ones throughout the day. For months I have been playing golf “all arms” I’d early extend and my back swing could go longer then John Daly but with zero control. I didn’t know how to fix it though. Just trying to not go back to far on my back swing left me inconsistent and focusing on a feel that would come and go. Early extension… I had no idea how to keep my chest down and into impact. So I’ve been taking lessons and searching for the root cause. In came @dennissalesgolf and what isn’t in the video is the complex video analysis of my swing that made my lack of ground forces and lower body control a blaring issue like never before. When I say we had about 2 hours straight of just focusing on my lower body, it’s no over exaggeration. My legs and core were trashed by the end of the lesson. For the first time though I was able to feel the swing as it looks on video with actual good golfers. When I move in proper sequence my arms don’t go back too far because they simply follow my body’s motion. Andi don’t early extend because I’m still in the motion at impact. Now this isn’t a miracle fix, but it sure feels like I have been sitting in a room with my eyes closed for months. Nothing is more true than the fact that golf is hard and humbling. I can’t wait to continue

Reality check time! Teams are digging through your medical history before they invest money into you as a player. Every visit to the training room matters. Even in college! And in some instances, the pressure of medical process can be part of the evaluation. They want to see how you handle it and how you react. Be a pro and be prepared.
