The Alpine Loop Scenic Drive in Utah is a must

Save this!! The Alpine Loop Scenic Drive in Utah is a must add it to your fall bucket list! Start your drive in American Fork Canyon (use the Alpine Loop Scenic Byway entrance). From there, wind your way through Aspen Grove, Sundance Resort, and finally come out through Provo Canyon. It’s about 20 miles long and takes around an hour without stops, but trust me you’ll want to stop! Pack a picnic, pull over for photos under the golden aspens, and take one of the short hikes along the way like Cascade Springs or Stewart Falls. If you time it right, the fall colors peak in late September to early October, and it’s absolutely breathtaking like this!! We went twice it was so gorgeous!! A few tips: •It can be tight in some of the turns for big dully trucks, it can be done just know before you go! •There can be a small fee to enter the canyon (cash or card) •The Timpanogos Cave National Monument is located within the canyon that the Alpine Loop travels through, you must drive past it to get to the start of the scenic drive itself stop in and collect your Junior Ranger badge or take a hike! •For lower crowds and bigger trucks, go early or on a weekday to avoid crowds - it’s beautiful and a lot of people want to see it! •Wear layers it gets chilly up top! This is one of those drives that reminds you how stunning God’s creation really is and I can’t wait to do it again one day!! Have you ever heard of this fall drive in Utah?! Or are you adding it to your bucket list?! 🍁Tiffany @the_partyof6 #AlpineLoop #UtahFallColors #FamilyTravel #ExploreUtah #falldrive #ThePartyof6Adventures

Can you believe these views😍😍😍 What?! When we hiked this with @utahmountainmama and her kids I was just totally blown away by how incredible this hike was! Not only is the overlook at the end amazing, but throughout the hike there are some pretty great views also! 📍Primrose Overlook is located up the alpine loop in American Fork Canyon! 🥾The hike is 3.1 miles and moderate. It is doable for most, but does have some good inclines! Be careful going during snowy seasons as this trail is in avalanche terrain! 🍁This hike is one we will definitely be back to in the fall when the leaves start changing! Details about the hikes👇 🫶🏼 Follow @zee.travel for more adventures in Utah & beyond 📍 This is Albion Basin & Cecret lake up in Alta 💵 You do need to pay $12 for parking as it’s a popular area and parking is limited 🌼 Albion Basin trail is an easy and quick loop around gorgeous wildflowers but you can also choose to hike up from there to Cecret lake which is typically a 2 mile hike with 400 ft of elevation. A little steep towards the end and you start at 9000 ft of elevation so keep that in mind 🐜 Bring bug spray if you plan to hike to cecret lake ✅ Make sure you stay on the trail and don’t pick the flowers 📱Send to someone you want to go with 🎥 also in video @hollandcouple Wildflower hike in Utah | Salt lake city things to do

Save & share for your next trip to Utah✨ Here are my Top 10 places to visit in one of the states I call home (I can’t wait to get back this summer for more adventures)! 👇🏽 📍Bonneville Salt Flats 📍Escalante National Monument 📍Cathedral Valley, Capital Reef 📍Zion National Park 📍Diamond Fork Hotsprings 📍Vermillion Cliffs 📍Canyonlands National Park 📍Bryce Canyon National Park 📍Meadow Hot Springs 📍Arches National Park 📍Goblin Valley Which one is on your bucketlist? 👇🏽 Note: the blue canals on the salt flats are now PERMANENTLY CLOSED. After I visited they were discovered to be a drainage ditch for potash (a potassium-rich natural salt that is mined in the area) & BLM decided to close the area to recreation for safety purposes. However, there are many naturally flooded areas on the salt flats that are just as beautiful (if not more beautiful), just visit in the rainy season! #visitutah #utahisrad

The best arch in Utah ⬇️🤯 💾 Save this if you’re planning a Utah road trip. We’ve been to all five Utah National Parks (a few times now), and somehow this hike stayed off our list for way too long. That finally changed during our last Utah road trip, when we slowed things down and spent a full month exploring all five parks. Cassidy Arch Trail in Capitol Reef National Park completely surprised us. It might honestly be our favorite arch hike in Utah. Here’s why 👇👇 🧗 Cassidy Arch Trail: About 3.3 miles round trip with steady elevation gain, light scrambling, and real exposure in a few sections. This is one of the only arches in Utah you can actually walk across, and the views from the top are unreal. 🥾 The trail is just as good as the payoff. Narrow canyon walls, layered rock, and constant perspective shifts keep things interesting the entire way. 📸 Standing on top of the arch really puts the scale of Capitol Reef into perspective. It feels massive from above. A few things to know before you go 👇👇 🎒 This hike is not for everyone. If heights make you uncomfortable, some sections will feel exposed. 💧 Bring plenty of water. There is very little shade, especially once the trail opens up. ⏰ Start earlier in the day if you can. This trail heats up fast. 👉👉 We’re working on a ton of Utah and Utah National Park content. We’re filming videos, writing blog posts, and pulling everything together into a free Utah planning bundle, including: 🗺️ Custom Google Map 📘 Easy-to-follow planning guide 🗓️ Flexible 2-day itinerary ✅ Printable checklist 🦬 Utah Bingo game Comment UTAH and we’ll send it your way when it’s ready. #cassidyarch #capitolreef #capitolreefnationalpark #visitutah #utahnationalparks

MOAB ITINERARY ⬇️ ✨If you were visiting Moab, Utah for a weekend getaway, this is exactly what I would tell you to do. New here? I’m Mallory — a Southwest local with 10 years of exploring and hiking this region. I share Southwest hikes, trip planning tips, and stops for your bucket-list trip. Follow @hello_mallory for more. Nestled in the heart of Utah’s Red Rock Country, Moab is one of my favorite destinations in Utah, although living only an hour away, I’m pretty biased. Adventures are limitless, and if you were visiting Moab for the weekend, this is what I would recommend to you as a Southwest local. Day 1️⃣ • Arrive in Moab and check-in to your hotel • Stop for a quick photo-op at the Greetings from Moab mural (corner of W 200 N and Main St on the side of Bowel Motel) • Grab dinner from the Food Truck Park • Head to Dead Horse Point State Park for sunset Day 2️⃣ Arches National Park • Get to the park before 7am for Delicate Arch sunrise (3.3 mi RT) • Pack meals and snacks to maximize daylight • Hike Devils Garden Primitive Loop (8 arches in one hike, 8 miles RT or can do out and back to Double O for 4 miles RT) • Stop at Sand Dune Arch (0.3 mi RT) Optional hike to Broken Arch (1.8 mi RT) • Finish at the Windows Section: Double Arch, Turret Arch, and the Windows • Sunset at North Window — one of the best sunset spots in the park Day 3️⃣ Canyonlands National Park • Avoid Mesa Arch crowds with sunrise at Shafer Trail Overlook • Head to Mesa Arch afterward for golden light and few crowds • Scenic overlooks: Grand View, Orange Cliffs, Green River • Quick hike at Aztec Butte (2 mi RT) • Optional add-ons before leaving: Corona Arch (3 mi RT) and drive Potash Road or Fisher Towers (4 mi RT) and drive Highway 128 🌵 Have you been to Moab? What else do you recommend to a first time visitor?
