How to do a basic tail braid 😊 EDIT: I’ve gotten a lot of similar questions about this, so I figure I’ll answer some of them here 😊 - This doesn’t hurt the horse! Horse tails are a lot less sensitive than human heads, and the braid is just tight enough to hold it in place. The horse has full range of motion, and shouldn’t be bothered by it at all - A braid like this takes 5-10 minutes to do, and is only left in for a few hours at most. It is done for competitions and other occasions, mainly to look nice - I’m not really in danger of being kicked! While you should absolutely be careful behind horses, especially ones you don’t know, this is a very well trained horse that’s used to being handled. Children are not my target demographic but I do frequently encounter a lot of young people who say they want to be like me or be like X person. Which is sweet but… To the youngens out there (or if you have a younger sibling or child), I KNOW it’s tempting to want to be all lean or vascular or XYZ especially when that’s probably a lot of the physiques you see online but it is not your time right now. You’re most likely looking at ADULTS. Teenage years (even young adulthood) is a crucial time for physical development that can set you up for a lifetime. Getting smaller should not be your priority ESPECIALLY when.. you’re already small! You’re a BABY! Focus on having fun with fitness. Do sports. Or go to the gym and focus on form and gaining knowledge. Eat ur parents food. Don’t stress about it. And to the adults out there struggling because they want to have a certain physical look; a similar message: being lean does not mean you’re healthy. For some people, they’re actually less healthy. Being lean does not mean you will be happy (or happier than you are now). Your experiences, life, knowledge, workouts are just as valuable as anyone else’s. The leanest guy in the room, the strongest guy in the room, the biggest guy in the room isn’t always the most knowledgeable, happiest, healthiest, etc. There are a lot of factors that go into someone’s physique/strength and not all those factors are within that individual’s control.
