I used to play this song on repeat, daydreaming my way out of a life that hurt. Last night it played again, this time with my daughter beside me. When this song first came out, I was lost and in a relationship that didn’t feel safe. I didn’t know where I was going, I just knew I wanted something more andI used to drive and dream my way into a different life to this exact song. Standing there last night, hearing it again but with my daughter telling me it was the best day ever..... I realised I’m living the life I once only imagined.
