Brute-force Android PIN [Edit 12.10.2020] I hope this helps you answer your questions 1) If device isn't rooted, then there isn't any other way how to unlock it than using such PIN brute force method 2) If you want to brute force PIN, then it is advised to use optimized PIN list either based on recon of the device owner or statistics (top 20 used PINs by users) which makes the time of the attack much shorter 3) This technique can be used with results, only if you are in possion of device for long time period - you forget the PIN, you perform forensic analysis (it means goal is to get PIN not be fast) 4) This method doesn't serve to unlock device in 30 seconds, if this would be true, then the whole Android PIN lock screen protection would be useless I created this quick script that tries to unlock PIN protected lockscreen using brute-force technique. Such device needs to have enabled ADB debugging.
