Trainers are the @antepes Muscles Runners the best sprint training shoe🔥 use Code: TARNUEDAVID for 10% off (link in bio) 🙏🏾 Some things to note: 1- focus on having negative foot speed as Your recovering with each cycle— essentially landing under your center of mass and pulling your heels back up to each recovery height (ankle, calf, knee) 2- as you progress through each dribble your stride will get long and will require more force for you to maintain the recovery height. 3. Don’t be afraid to go quicker as you progress. The point of the drill is to slow down your recovery and strike cycle and eventually speed it up so it’s an automatic unconscious movement pattern. Full sprint workout for acceleration 🔥 First up was drills & warmup runs in the new @antepes muscle runners. I hit low 1.5’s in these which goes to show they’re pretty fast shoes for non-spikes. After several warm ups I swapped into spikes for some higher intensity sprints, alternating between 2pt & 3pt starts through 10 yards. Best rep was a 1.44 in the New Balance SDX. Next up was 20 yard sprints from a drop-in, focusing on building speed through the whole zone. This is a good distance for exposure to mid-acceleration qualities, especially when coming from a drop-in start. To cap off the workout I did 3x 40 yards from a 3 point stance. Best on the day was 4.37 from a 1 yard lead in. Testing. BOTH Good for Training Toes. They are Different. Overall I like the @antepes better than the Nikes. More versatile and likely Faster. But I will say these Nikes are very good for training the Toes. Trust me. It Helps to have Perfect Balance when evaluating shoes.
