गुजरात से राजस्थान, हरियाणा और दिल्ली तक फैली अरावली केवल पहाड़ियों की श्रृंखला नहीं, बल्कि उत्तर भारत की जीवनरेखा है। पिछले महीने माननीय सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा सरकार की उस परिभाषा को मान्यता दी गई, जिसमें केवल 100 मीटर से अधिक ऊँचाई वाले क्षेत्र को ही अरावली माना गया। यह संकीर्ण परिभाषा #अरावली के लगभग 90 प्रतिशत भू-भाग के लिए डेथ वारंट समान है, क्योंकि अरावली का करीब 90% हिस्सा 100 मीटर से नीचे ही है। कुछ दिन पूर्व CPP चेयरपर्सन श्रीमती सोनिया गांधी जी ने अपने लेख के माध्यम से इस परिभाषा पर गंभीर आपत्ति जताई थी। आज वही चिंता पूरे देश में गूंज रही है। अरावली राजस्थान के पूर्वी हिस्से और दिल्ली में मरुस्थलीकरण को रोकने वाली ढाल है, करोड़ों जीव-जंतुओं का प्राकृतिक आवास है और भूजल पुनर्भरण (Ground Water Recharge) में इसकी भूमिका अत्यंत निर्णायक है। कांग्रेस पार्टी अरावली को बचाने, पर्यावरण, प्रकृति और जल संरक्षण के प्रति पूरी तरह संकल्पबद्ध है। मैं देश के सभी जिम्मेदार नागरिकों और पर्यावरण प्रेमियों से अपील करता हूँ कि अरावली के संरक्षण के लिए अपनी आवाज़ बुलंद करें। सरकार इस विषय की गंभीरता को समझें और देश के पर्यावरण, विशेषकर राजस्थान की धरती, के साथ हो रहे खिलवाड़ को रोका जाए। #savearavalli #aravali #savearavali

When money comes everybody speaks but what happens when money doesn't come? This is the clear fit case of the entire Aravali saga. Back when both the ruling party and the opposition, the BJP and the Congress and others as well, were funding the influencers, everybody was talking about the Aravali ranges, how they are protected or not protected, and whatever. Now after that one single reel, nobody no longer wants to talk about it. Why? Because nobody is paying them to do it and that's the biggest problem of the current Indian atmosphere. The voices that are really trusted have really been compromised. They don't really give a damn about what they speak. What they care about is how much they are being paid and by whom?
