[Cornwall][Bistro] 𝐀𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐞 📍𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐥𝐲𝐧, 𝐀𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐞 𝐓𝐑𝟏𝟖 𝟓𝐇𝐖 🍳Food quality: 🐥🐥🐥🐥🐣 🍳Price：🐥🐥🐥🐥 🍳Ambiance/ Location：🐥🐥🐥🐥🐣 This seafood restaurant in Newlyn with a 4.8-star rating is the highlight of my trip to Cornwall back in June. Two of us ordered: ✔️ Fish Soup, Croutons & Chilli Oil £9 ✔️ Raw Sea Bass & Mustard Flowers £7 ✔️ Diver Caught Scallops £21 ✔️ Ray Wing, Preserved Lemon & Chilli £30 We started with fish soup, which is for real the best I have ever had, packed with rich flavours and slightly heated. It was served with croutons and was ideal for dipping their complementary sourdough slices. The raw sea bass had a nice, slightly chewy texture, and it tasted fresh. We then had the huge scallops cooked with butter in shells, a squeeze of lemon juice enhanced the flavours to another level, and they were super fresh and meaty. And it came my favourite dish, the ray wing, which was super smooth and silky, and you can even eat the bones. The portion was again huge and we were both so full after the meal. We also ordered a glass of their orange wine of the day and it accompanied the seafood so well. Their menu changes occasionally but I promise their food never disappoints!
