Cadets from the UCLA Army ROTC Bruin Battalion conducted field training exercises at Fort Hunter Liggett, where they trained in marksmanship, obstacle courses, land navigation, and additional soldier skills. During the event, Garrison Commander Col. Jason McKenzie presented the battalion with a recognition coin for their efforts, and Command Sgt. Maj. Fimbres offered congratulations for their performance in the field. The U.S. Army ROTC Wolfpack Battalion at North Carolina State University continued training this past Thursday, despite the cold, to conduct a raid during their tactics lab. Cadets are applying the tactics and planning principles they learn in the classroom each week. At 4:00am this Wednesday, bearing packs of 35lbs minimum, cadets from the UGA Army ROTC Bulldog Battalion completed their annual 8 mile ruck march, with cadets trying out for Cadet Advanced Individual Training going 12 miles. Cadets showed incredible discipline and determination, completing this event in under 2 hours to get some breakfast and go continue their days. Phenomenal job to our cadets! Go Army, and Go Dawgs!
