You are watching one of the best endings of all time Arrival is a masterpiece from beggining to end, what a perfect story and build up to the plot twist. Amy Adams was perfect and deserved a Oscar for the role. The alien language in Arrival, called Heptapod B, was created with the help of linguists. The circular symbols were designed so that each “sentence” is written all at once instead of line by line, reflecting how the aliens perceive time: non-linearly. This means they know the beginning and end of a thought simultaneously.
