Existe uma necessidade silenciosa que quase ninguém questiona: a de parecer alguma coisa o tempo todo. Não de ser, mas de parecer. E é daí que nascem as chamadas necessidades artificiais — criadas para sustentar um ego que desaprendeu a se reconhecer sem validação externa. O ser humano passou a buscar valor onde há visibilidade. Status, dinheiro, aparência, reconhecimento. Tudo aquilo que pode ser mostrado virou prova de existência, enquanto o que não aparece foi sendo deixado de lado. Dentro dessa lógica, surge uma pirâmide invisível: quanto mais se conquista, mais se sente que ainda falta. E o problema é que essa pirâmide não tem topo. Ela se alimenta da sensação constante de insuficiência. Lealdade, cumplicidade e presença não geram aplauso. Talvez por isso tenham perdido espaço. Não porque deixaram de ser importantes, mas porque deixaram de ser percebidas como valor. Criou-se uma distorção onde o essencial parece pouco, e o superficial ganha peso de virtude. Pessoas passaram a ser admiradas não pelo que sustentam, mas pelo que exibem. No fundo, não é sobre ter. É sobre precisar disso para se sentir alguém.
