Do you want to learn how to make smooth textured Art? The first and most important thing is having a perfect base. I’m sharing with you some steps HOW TO MAKEING YOUR OWN TEXTURED PASTE. MATERIALS: ✨WALL PUTTI POWDER OR WALL PUTTI PASTE ✨ACRYLIC PAINT ✨WOODEN GLUE Instructions: 1. **Mix the Putti**: use the mixing bowl. These powders act as the base of the texture paste, giving it body and bulk. 2. **Add Acrylic Paint and Glue**: Pour in white acrylic paint. If you prefer a more matte and flexible finish, use white PVA glue instead. The acrylic paint will provide an opaque base, while the glue offers more flexibility if that’s your preference. 3. **Adjust the Consistency**: Slowly add a small amount of water, just enough to make the paste thick and smooth. You’re aiming for a peanut butter-like consistency—easy to spread, but not too runny. 4. **Optional: Add Sand for Extra Texture**: To add more grit or roughness to your paste, mix in 1-2 tablespoons of fine sand. This gives the paste a heavier texture, which can be great for more rugged or natural effects. 5. **Mix Thoroughly**: Use a palette knife or spoon to mix the ingredients until you have a smooth, even texture. 🙋🏼‍♀️Question & Answer: •What paste do you use? Depending on the artwork I switch up my ratios and ingredients for my paste. Generally I use plaster joint compound, acrylic paint, texture paste or modeling paste, and sometimes gesso or impasto medium. •Do you get cracks? Yes, I think all texture artists do. I do in particular because I live by the sea the salt air pulls the moisture out of my artworks. I do all I can to minimize cracking including slowing the dry time down and making sure my paste has enough moisture. •Where do you get your frames? I have been learning to frame myself, so some frames I make, others I buy from department and art stores. •I’m going to do this design!
