Assistive devices go further than mobility aids! As someone with pain in my fingers and hands from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, as well as carpal tunnel in both wrists, opening bottles has become nearly impossible for me. It makes me feel seen when I discover a device made specifically to preserve my independence, especially when it works successfully! Please note that you still need to be able to grip the bottle to hold it steady. I can hold a bottle, but I cannot make a twisting motion due to my disability. This is why this device works for me. Several kids had a great time trying out the new 100% 3D Printed Toddler Mobility trainer at rockymountainreprapfestival ! They instantly knew how to use the chair and had a great time with it. I want to note these kids are not wheelchair users, they thought it looked like good fun and wanted to try it out in this highly supervised environment.
