What if distance in the universe is just an illusion and a shortcut could take you across millions of light-years? This mind-bending idea is known as the "Einstein-Rosen Bridge" On one side: black hole — where everything falls in In the middle: wormhole — a tunnel through space-time On the other side: white Hole — where everything emerges 👉🏼If this exists.....travel between galaxies could take seconds instead of millions of years. But here’s the truth — it comes from theoretical physics — not proven yet, but not impossible either. #einsteinrosenbridge #blackhole #wormhole #cosmos #astrophysics Follow for more mind-bending cosmic truths – @cosmicchronicles.in 🚀

The Sun is 4.6 billion years old, but the water flowing on Earth traces its origins to ancient interstellar ice that predates our star itself. Every drop we drink is older than the Sun relic of the universe's earliest days a timeless “Follow for daily space facts 🚀” #universe #spacefacts #space #astrophysics #physics #physics #

Explanation 👇 For decades, astronomers believed a collision between the Milky Way and Andromeda was an absolute certainty. However, the latest research from 2025 and 2026 has shifted this view significantly. The Timeline: When will it happen? According to the most recent data from the Gaia spacecraft and Hubble Space Telescope, the timeline and certainty of the collision are as follows: • Original Prediction: A “head-on” collision in about 4 to 4.5 billion years. • Revised 2025/2026 View: Recent simulations suggest the collision is no longer a “sure thing.” There is now estimated to be a 50-50 chance of a collision occurring within the next 10 billion years. • If it happens: If the galaxies do merge, the process will take billions of years, eventually forming a new, giant elliptical galaxy often nicknamed “Milkomeda.” The “Why”: Gravitational Attraction The reason these two massive galaxies are moving toward each other is simple: Gravity. 1. Mutual Attraction: While the universe is expanding and pushing most galaxies away from each other, the Milky Way and Andromeda are part of the same “Local Group.” They are close enough (about 2.5 million light-years apart) that their mutual gravitational pull overcomes the expansion of space between them. 2. Radial Velocity: Andromeda is currently hurtling toward us at approximately 400,000 kilometers per hour (roughly 250,000 miles per hour). 3. The “Spoiler” Effect: The recent shift in certainty (the 50% chance) comes from better accounting for the gravitational influence of other nearby “satellite” galaxies, like the Large Magellanic Cloud and the Triangulum Galaxy. These smaller neighbors pull on both the Milky Way and Andromeda, which could potentially nudge them onto paths that lead to a near-miss rather than a direct hit. Neil deGrasse Tyson explains that the sun emits all colors of the visible spectrum at once which our eyes perceive as white light The only reason it looks yellow to us is because of Earths atmosphere As sunlight hits our air the blue and violet wavelengths get scattered away which is why the sky looks blue and the sun looks slightly yellow from our perspective If you were standing in the vacuum of space looking at the sun without the atmosphere getting in the way it would be a brilliant blinding white This means every sunset and golden hour we see is just a beautiful atmospheric filter on a white star #neildegrassetyson #astrophysics #solarsystem #sciencefacts #astronomy

Most people think black holes “pull” light like a vacuum. That’s not what’s happening. Black holes bend spacetime itself. Light isn’t being dragged — the path it travels on is curved. When space bends, even light has no choice but to follow. It’s wild to think the universe doesn’t just have rules… it reshapes the road everything has to travel on. #blackhole #spacetime #astronomy #spacefacts #cosmic #universe #astrophysics #science If spacetime can bend, what else about reality are we misunderstanding?

How can something shrink… and spin faster than a jet engine? When a massive star dies, it collapses — but instead of going silent, it becomes a cosmic dancer spinning hundreds of times per second. That’s the universe flexing its love for angular momentum. Smaller radius = insane spin rate. Just like an ice skater pulling in their arms — or this professor squeezing a ball. Neutron stars: proof that the universe loves angular momentum. If this blew your mind, wait till you see what black holes do. There is something out there pulling our entire galaxy toward it at 2 million kilometers per hour and we cannot see it 👁️🌌 Not a black hole. Not a single star. Something so incomprehensibly massive that it is dragging the Milky Way, Andromeda, and hundreds of other galaxies across hundreds of millions of light years of space toward a single point. Scientists call it the Great Attractor and the scariest part is that we still don't fully know what it is 🤯 It sits about 250 million light years away in the direction of the Centaurus and Norma constellations. The gravitational pull coming from that region is so powerful that it is moving our entire Local Group of galaxies toward it at speeds that dwarf anything we experience in our corner of the universe. Everything in a massive region of space is flowing toward this one point like water circling a drain 🌀 For decades we couldn't even study it properly because it sits directly behind the plane of our own galaxy. The Milky Way's dust, gas and stars block our view in that direction, a region astronomers literally call the Zone of Avoidance. It was only through X-ray and radio telescopes that we began to pierce through and glimpse what lies beyond 🔭 What we found was Laniakea, a supercluster of over 100,000 galaxies spanning 520 million light years that we are part of, all flowing toward this gravitational center. The Great Attractor may be the convergence point of something even larger we are still mapping 📡 INTERESTING FACT: we are moving toward the Great Attractor right now as you read this. But the expansion of the universe is also accelerating in the opposite direction simultaneously, meaning we may never actually reach it no matter how long we travel ⏳ We are not standing still in a stable universe. We are being pulled across the cosmos by something we cannot see and cannot name yet 👁️🌀 . . . . . . . . The definitive 3D map of our universe ✨ On April 15, 2026, the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) officially completed its five-year survey of the sky. Perched atop the Nicholas U. Mayall Telescope at Kitt Peak, this instrument uses 5,000 robotic eyes to peer back 11 billion years into our history. These positioners are accurate to within 10 microns, which is less than the width of a human hair, allowing a global team of over 900 researchers to capture light from 47 million galaxies and quasars. Early results suggest that dark energy might not be a “cosmological constant” as previously thought. Instead, there are hints that it could be evolving over time. If confirmed, this would mark a massive shift in our understanding of how the universe expands and its ultimate fate. #fyp #space #astronomy #nasa #universe

GRAND THOUGHTS OF MOTION: The earth rotates on its axis, revolves in orbit around the sun, and is also moving, with the entire solar system, at great speeds through the Milky Way Galaxy. And there’s even greater motion; the entire Milky Way Galaxy is also spinning and moving through space. • All the previously mentioned motions are proceeding within an infinitely-scaled universe which is itself also expanding at an accelerating rate. • We are in a markedly mathematical and profoundly complex universe!!! God “hath made the earth by his POWER, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath STRETCHED OUT the heavens by his discretion.” (Jeremiah 10:12). • In this video representation, we observe the awe-inspiring motions of the solar system. INCREDIBLY COOL TO REALIZE: is that the remarkable planetary motions are helical (of a helix design). This means that they are very similar to the mathematical structure of DNA!!! 🧬 The planets literally trace helical paths through space!!! • “The sun orbits the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, bringing with it the planets, asteroids, comets, and other objects in our solar system. Our solar system is moving with an average velocity of 450,000 miles per hour (720,000 kilometers per hour).” — NASA • We clearly see such exact precision in the vastness of the universe — evidence that these things could not logically be by random chance or coincidence. The mathematical exactness of the laws of physics, the perfectly positioned location of the earth for life, the structure of the solar system, and the grand order of the universe are all mathematically impossible without a Designer. Design speaks of a Designer. • Video Via @astrorhun Music @tinlicker • Follow @cora.a.harris for more science content. 🪐🔭🔬✨ And please share this reel with your family & friends. Black hole, white hole, and wormhole thoughtfully crafted story: A black hole is like a hole in the middle of a swimming pool. When it becomes active, it pulls the fabric of space (like water) toward itself. Anything nearby - pebbles (matter) or light - gets swallowed along with it. According to some theories, whatever enters a black hole might come out somewhere else through a white hole - like an exit door. And the path that could connect a black hole and a white hole is called a wormhole a tunnel or passage where space and time are extremely distorted. When matter or light approaches a black hole, time slows down for it, while far away, time continues to move faster. So, a black hole isn’t just a hole of gravity it’s a twist in space, time, and reality itself Follow @thequantumakash for more #blackhole #wormhole #timetravel #physics #astrophysics
