Have you ever done something that wasn’t true to yourself? Nobody talks about how hard it is to stop pretending. When I’m facing a decision or internal conflict, these three things help me become unapologetically me. First question: What would __________ say? Saying my own name pulls me back to my center and cuts through the noise. Second: How can I trust myself even more? That question shifts the focus inward. You can want things from people, but expecting responses is usually where trust breaks down. Expectations often lead to disappointment. Third is physical. Hand on your chest. Deep breath. Eyes closed. Feel what’s true right now. Get out of your head and into your body. The answer always comes. You might not like it, but you’ll know it’s true.
