I have made $40k+ from trading in the last year. If you aren't a profitable trader, these are tips that will separate you from the rest. 1️⃣ Backtesting any strategy you create will inform you whether it is profitable or not. @deltatrendtrading and @aristotle_investments give strong insights into the importance of back testing your strategies. My strategy is backtested on 69 years of ES data. 2️⃣ Find a software to perform the back testing. I recommend TradingView as it is beginner friendly, but if you want to become more professional, use programmes like MetaTrader5 and QuantConnect. I leverage AI to assist me in coding any strategy I have created for backtesting. 3️⃣ When you create a profitable strategy, you need to maximise your gains by using prop-firms to leverage your capital. I use FTMO and TopStep, but other alternatives like Tradify and TakeProfitTrader are popular. The most important tip 4️⃣ is to stay motivated and to not give up 💪
