A day after appealing his followers to listen his Hanumant Katha virtually due to unexpected crowd gathered at the venue at Taret Pali near Naubatpur leading to announcement of cancellation of his ‘divya darbar’, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham fame continued with his sermon on Monday and took the people’s ‘arzis’ (petitions to god), too. He asked his followers not to believe in superstition or get trapped by ojhas and tantriks. “Either you stop having faith in Hanuman Ji or else leave everything to Bageshwar Balaji. He is the saviour (sankatmochan) and will solve all your problems,” he said. Elated over the large number of people from across the state and some parts of the country attending his Bageshwar darbar for the last three days, Shastri said the fire (jwala) for a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ will be ignited in Bihar and a day will come when those living in India will have to chant Sita-Ram. He even announced that a darbar will be organised in Gaya later on. While addressing the gathering, Shastri said people of Bihar are not backward; rather they are full of devotion and have showcased the unity of ‘sanatan dharma’. “Bihar is the land of saints and people here have shown the example of Hindu unity.
