If you’re thinking about a 3D printer do it. Do it. Do it. It’s addictive. It’s fun. And it’s way more practical than I expected. I have the Bambu A1 and from a usability point of view, this isn’t design heavy or technical to run. You don’t need to model anything yourself. You open the app, choose a file, press print on your phone, and it prints. Once it’s sent, it’s fully hands off. You can get on with your day, leave the house, or go to bed and it just runs. When it’s finished, it lets you know. It’s compact enough for a home setup, quieter than I thought it would be, and the consistency has been solid. I haven’t had to constantly tweak settings or babysit prints. Most of what I’m using it for is functional. Storage pieces, holders, clips, organisers. Small problem solving things that actually make a space work better instead of just adding more stuff. That said, there’s still plenty of room for the fun little things too. The kind of prints you don’t need, but end up using every day once they exist.
