A question we get ALL the time 👇🏼 How wide should my Engagement Ring band be? 💎 Golden Rule: Never go under 1.60 mm. Anything thinner runs a serious risk of bending or breaking, especially after resizing or when your finger swell. For extra safety? ✨ We recommend 1.80 mm minimum Now here’s where it gets important… The size of your Diamond should determine your band width: • 1–3 carats: 1.80–2.00 mm • 3.5–4 carats: 2.00–2.50 mm • 4.5–5 carats: 2.00–2.50 mm (but go LOW set 👀) The wider the band, the smaller your center Diamond looks by comparison. Too thin? Structural risk. Too thick? You shrink your sparkle visually. And if you’re going BIG (4.5–5 carats), don’t let that Diamond sit too high.
