Let’s talk about it… It’s the question I get asked the most on almost every post: “How do you hang your banners?” And honestly… the answer is a little complicated. The paper I paint on is slightly heavier than regular construction paper, and when you add full coverage paint designs (and larger sizes), it naturally increases the weight of the banner. So here’s the breakdown ✨ While I’m painting: I use an unhealthy amount of @scotch blue painter’s tape. This works best for me because it holds the banner up while I work and doesn’t damage the paper when I remove it from the wall. For my clients: Painter’s tape isn’t always the prettiest option and won’t hold long-term if just stuck to the back, so I usually recommend stronger tape or command strips, depending on where the banner will be hung. And of course — I also offer metal grommets! Grommets are a fan favorite and a great option for anyone who: • doesn’t want to stick anything to their wall • wants to hang the banner from a frame, hook, fence, etc. • prefers a cleaner, more finished look At the end of the day, it really just depends on where the banner will be displayed and personal preference.
