pain, abuse, trauma, anxiety, sin, and lies of the enemy affecting my life for the past 10 years….I’ve been putting this off until I felt him push me to. This was that🥹 (this wasn’t planned.. that explains the jeans.. a true test of obedience haha!! I went to women’s night, saw baptisms and he said go. so I walked up and asked for a shirt LOL, I was baptized as a baby) Thankyou Jesus, for wiping me clean. Giving me a fresh start, a new identity in you. Away from the shame and the past💕 God is good. I got baptized today! Again I got baptized as a baby like almost everyone in my country. Obviously I was not aware of it and I never understood the true meaning of baptism. I had a rough time with God most of my life. At some point I didn’t believe in His existence. I denied Him, because how loving God can create so much suffering in this world. Why he made me suffer? When I was 17 I was at my lowest point in my life that nothing could help me. I asked God many times, why me? Why I have to go through all of this. I never got the answer. Something switched in me at 18 and then I moved away from my hometown, left everything and everyone behind to study and it was my first time to live in a city. I did not feel scared. I felt guided but I did not understand why. Today I am 21 and I do understand. God always guided me. That was his answer. To go and change anything that was not meant for me. God guided me again and this time I refuse to deny him. This time I decide to walk with Jesus. This time I am fully aware of my confession and I am happy to praise the Lord! Walking through life without God is absolutely lonely. Nothing can fill your heart like God’s love. I dedicate my life to God🤍 #baptism #god #jesus #godsplan

I will be the first one to tell you, that walking with God will be the hardest thing you do. You have to fundamentally change, thoughts about yourself, of others and let all of your ego out at the door. I felt overwhelmed at times during OCIA and felt like I really was behind. I knew nothing about Christianity, Catholicism.
