The Rice Paper Cult Ep. 2 - Tofu Rolls Ingredients (1 serving) 1 silken tofu roll 1 sheet seaweed 2 sheets rice paper 2 fried beancurd skin rolls ¼ cup water ½ cup soymilk 1 tbsp vegan oyster sauce 1 tbsp plum syrup (or any sweetener) 1 tbsp mushroom seasoning (or a pinch of salt / msg) 2 tbsp nutritional yeast 1 tbsp sesame oil chili oil / lao gan ma fried shallots sesame seeds coriander Place the tofu on the seaweed and roll it up, lay that on 2 sheets of wet rice paper, dip the fried beancurd skin rolls until soft, lay them out, place the tofu roll on top, roll everything up together (tofu, seaweed, rice paper, beancurd skin), cut into 6. In a pan, combine water, soymilk, vegan oyster sauce, plum syrup, mushroom seasoning, nutritional yeast, and sesame oil. Mix well, place the tofu rolls in, spoon the sauce over, cover and simmer for ~8 mins. Finish with chili oil, fried shallots, sesame seeds, and coriander.
