Hi Guys!👋🏼 I thought I’d share some answers to your questions I always get asked , here you go☺️ 1. I’m Beth and I am 23! I started Beth Bakes Cakes when I was 19 in lockdown of 2020! It was very unintentional, I was baking in lockdown for friends and family, posting photos on insta (I’ll have to post some old cakes of mine😂) and it started to get some attention! And by the end of 2020 it was in full swing! 2. I never thought I would be a baker or own my own business. During 2020 I always thought that in 2021 I would just stop baking as it was a ‘lockdown’ thing but no I was definitely wrong!! 3. It all began in my family home kitchen and I outgrew the space there so in June 2021 I moved all my gear from home to my HQ! 4. My fav cake to make and eat is chocolate fudge, for you guys who know it’s the big slice I sell here on insta! My all time fav. 5. I always get asked where my oven is! it’s in the 2nd kitchen space that I share! So the pink kitchen is all my space and then the oven is in the other kitchen. Maybe I’ll do a full vid showing you guys this one! As it’s hard to picture!😂 6. I get asked this all the time if I eat the cakes & bakes. Yep!!!!!! 7. I put my business on pause in 2023 for 9 months to go live in Australia and do some travelling! And that’s when I got a part time job at @butterboybake ! I worked there with my friends and it was a fun experience! 8. My favourite thing about making cakes is the decorating. 9. I also really love creating content and videos of my cakes, it’s probs my second most favourite thing about my job!😂 content is so important when having a business, it’s definitely been a key part of what I do! In 2022 I went from 5,000 followers to 90,000 in 2 months!!!!! Content is definitely key if your wanting to grow your social media👀🙌🏼 10. My favourite baking season is definitely Easter as all the choc is just so yum to incorporate in baking! 11. Btw my ingredient bins are from @vevor.official , I always get asked that question!!!
