Really happy with my first camera, can’t wait to share my experiences with it once I have it! 🤩📷 #canon #canoncamera #canoneos #canonr50 #canoneosr50 #student #onlinecontentcreator #motorsportcontentcreator

When I bought my first camera, I thought I’d instantly start taking stunning photos. ❗️Spoiler: I didn’t. 😅 Instead, I got blurry shots, weird lighting, and had no clue what all those buttons meant. So if you’re a beginner photographer or content creator just getting into the game, this is that starting point for you. Here are 4 simple things I wish I had done when I began 👇 ✅ Learn the exposure triangle — ISO controls the sensitivity of light, shutter speed controls the time of light, and aperture controls the amount of light. You don’t have to be a tech genius. Just get familiar. ✅ Shoot in natural light — Morning or golden hour light makes your photos look edited even when they’re not. ✅ Use just one lens — Stick to your kit lens and understand how it behaves in different scenes. Stop chasing gear. ✅ Shoot every damn day — Even your messy desk, your lunch, or your cat. Skill builds through repetition. 📸 The real glow-up comes from knowing how to see and control light, not from having the “best camera.” That’s exactly what I teach inside my beginner-friendly course with no jargon, no fluff, just simple steps that actually make sense. 🎯 Want to stop guessing and finally feel confident with your camera? This might be the perfect beginner camera for content creators. In this episode of Judo’s Creator Kit, I’m breaking down the Fujifilm X-M5 — a compact, powerful camera that shoots 4K60, 6.2K Open Gate, and has built-in film simulations that make your footage look good straight out of camera. It’s small, lightweight, and great for handheld shooting — but here’s the catch: it doesn’t have IBIS. Still, with the right setup (tripod, clamp, or gimbal), it’s one of the best tools I’d recommend for anyone starting out. If you’re a solo creator, beginner filmmaker, or just looking to shoot better videos without overcomplicating things — this one’s for you. –– 🎬 This channel is for creators who shoot small and dream big. I share tools, mindset, and behind-the-scenes from my own creative process — to help you stay consistent and make content you’re proud of. #fujifilmXM5 #beginnercamera #creatorgear #solocreator #contentcreationtools #filmmaking #filmsimulation #cinematicvlog #youtubegear #cinematic #JudoCreatorKit #JCK

Choosing your first camera? 📸 Here’s the beginner gear you’ll need to kickstart your photography journey: 📸 Camera: Go for something small, light, and stylish! You’ll want a camera you love the look of—trust me, it’ll motivate you to bring it out more. (That’s why I swear by Fujifilm!) 🔍 Lens: Invest in one quality lens! Whether it’s a prime or zoom, pick something in a standard focal range you’ll use often. 🔋 Accessories: Grab a few extra batteries, a good strap, and a sling—these will make shooting so much easier! That’s it to start! The rest can come as you grow 📷

My selection of cameras at the end 👇 Sony? Nikon? Canon? Fuji? It doesn’t matter. The brand is more a matter of personal taste than a crucial criterion to take into consideration. You should focus more on: 1. Mirrorless over DSLR: While this might bring some disagreements in the photographer community, to me, this is the number one criterion when choosing a camera. Mirrorless is smaller, lighter, and much more discreet—vital in various types of photography (street, landscape, travel, lifestyle, etc.). Nowadays, it has nothing to envy to DSLRs in terms of quality, so there is absolutely no reason not to go in that direction. 2. Size Matters: In photography, it’s the size of your sensor that elevates the quality of your pictures (and the price of the camera 🤑). If you can afford it, go for a full frame, but in my opinion, an APS-C (crop sensor) is more than enough to begin with. 3. ISO Quality: The quality of ISO is the only exposure factor entirely dependent on your camera. The better it is, the better your night pictures will be. 4. RAW Files: Shooting in RAW format is a MUST for photography. It will give you much more range when editing your pictures! 5. Aperture Priority Mode: Having this mode available is very convenient for photography, as it’s the most used one with the manual mode. Make sure the camera you buy has this option. Some top picks for a first camera: - Sony a6100 - Sony a6700 (I personally started with an a6300) - Canon EOS M50 (very reliable to begin with) - Fujifilm X-T30 (stylish and great quality) - Nikon Z5 (the most affordable full-frame camera) - Olympus OM-D E-M10 (very versatile) - Panasonic Lumix G7 (ideal for a smaller budget) 📸✨ Follow for more tips! 🤝 #camera #sonyalpha #fujifilm #canon #olympus #nikon #panasoniclumix #beginnerphotography #photographer #tutorial #photographytips

I get so many questions about what to look for when buying your first beginner-friendly camera, so here is my guide of criteria to consider and how the @SonyAlpha 6700 meets all of them! #SonyAmbassador #SponsoredbySony 📸💗The A6700 is the perfect start for any concert photographer but it’s fast autofocus, compact mirrorless body and versatility makes it perfect to capture a variety of subjects and niches. 3 SETTINGS TO CHANGE ON YOUR NEW CAMERA! {save for later} 1️⃣ Image Quality: you’ll want to change this from JPEG to RAW! Doing this will significantly help you with in editing later on. 2️⃣ White Balance: switch from AWB (auto white balance) to Kelvin! I tend to keep mine between 5500-6500. 3️⃣ Autofocus: if you shoot moving subjects, such as people or animals, be sure to change your autofocus setting from One Shot to SERVO (aka continuous AF).
