Many rescues adopt out behaviorally abnormal animals without giving them the necessary treatment (behavior medicine can work wonders for abnormally skittish puppies and if a puppy is avoiding contact with people for weeks it warrants a visit with a vet behaviorist for sure). 🚩Remember, what you see is often what you get.
