Every crystal of ice becomes a mirror to something divine, something that hums at the border between ruin and resurrection. The mountains do not watch—they endure, solemn and sentient, as if aware that all light is both a birth and a burial. In this frozen cathedral, even silence acquires weight, like a forgotten prayer rediscovered at the edge of hearing. Perhaps we come to such places not to see, but to be undone—to feel the boundaries of the self dissolve into vapor and flame. The Bucegi do not ask for admiration; they demand surrender. And as the world smolders into the white hush of winter, one wonders: is awe just another name for fear wearing its finest coat?
