If you ask me, I’d pick June 🌦️🇯🇵 [ A D ] Come to Japan in February for blue skies and sunshine pretty much every day, buuuut.. rug up cos it’s also the coldest time of the year 🥶 Personally, I think February is the cheapest time to visit Japan just because everyone’s back at work and school. Come in June if you prefer warm weather but make sure to have an umbrella with you. I love this period because there are far less tourists. Think of it as the calm before the summer holiday storm. #traveltips #japan #tokyo #japantravelguide #skyscanneradvocate

If you don’t plan Japan correctly, you’ll waste hours in lines, miss trains by seconds, overpay for WiFi or internet, and struggle with dinner reservations 🇯🇵 But once you understand the system… Japan becomes one of the easiest countries in the world to travel. Here’s what I learned after my 3rd trip: ✈️ Use points wisely (confirm before transferring) 📱 Get an eSIM — skip pocket WiFi 🚆 Add Suica to Apple Wallet 🍣 Make dinner AND lunch reservations 🚖 Don’t touch taxi doors (they open automatically) 📍 Use Google Maps for exact train timing Japan isn’t hard. It’s just different. Save this for your trip 🇯🇵

Comment JAPAN for FREE😍 “50 things to know before going to Japan” book Japan is magical, but it’s also full of tiny rules, systems, and cultural things nobody tells you. We learned everything the hard way on our first visit, so now I packed it all into a simple beginner-friendly guide for you to open anytime during your trip 📖 Here’s a tiny preview 👇 💡 Must-knows before you land • Download Google Translate because English isn’t widely spoken. The camera feature will translate menus and signboards instantly. • You don’t always need a JR Pass. It sounds tempting, but city day-passes like Osaka Amazing Pass and Tokyo Subway Pass are way cheaper and more practical for exploring. • Never take a taxi from the airport unless you want to start your trip with a heart attack bill 😅 Instead, take the Limousine Bus or train. Comfortable, runs on time, luggage friendly. • Get an eSIM online before flying and activate it just before landing. You’ll have internet the moment you switch on airplane mode off (comment if you want the link). These are just 4 out of 50. The rest will help you with money saving, etiquette, trains, food, convenience stores, public behaviour, toilets, cash vs card, luggage forwarding, IC cards, vending machines, thermal baths, safety, and so much more! What you’ll get inside the free guide ✔ How to avoid common tourist mistakes ✔ Hidden hacks locals use ✔ Transport & money saving tips ✔ What to do before/after landing ✔ Cultural do’s and don’ts Your Japan trip should be stress-free, and this guide is the cheat code.
