Send this to who you’d explore these with 🧚 📌 Make sure you SAVE this for your own trip and follow @thenomadsyouknow for more underrated destinations around the world. If you are coming to England and are looking for places to visit beyond the usual hotspots, add these to your English bucket list and thank us later…👇🏼 ⚔️ Holy Island – perched off the coast of Northumberland, this tidal island is steeped in history. Home to Lindisfarne Castle and the site of the first Viking raids, it’s magical, dramatic, and often overlooked. 🌊 Mousehole – a tiny Cornish fishing village with winding streets, colorful cottages, and a peaceful harbor. Quieter than St Ives or Newquay, it’s pure charm and perfect for golden hour strolls. ⛰️ Winnats Pass – a narrow limestone gorge in the Peak District, with cliffs rising steeply on either side. The drive, or a walk along the ridge delivers moody skies, dramatic views, and serious “wow” factor. 🌲 Yorkshire Dales – rolling green valleys and hidden waterfalls like Aysgarth Falls and Hardraw Force. Less visited than the Lake District, it’s peaceful, picturesque, and full of classic English countryside vibes. 🦕 Golden Cap – Dorset’s highest point on the south coast, offering sweeping views of the Jurassic Coast. Wildflowers, cliff walks, and far fewer crowds than Durdle Door, make it a perfect underrated walk. ⚓️ Norfolk Broads – a wonderland of rivers and lakes. Rent a boat, drift past windmills, watch kingfishers, and moor up outside a classic pub. It’s the ultimate slow travel destination. 🥾 Hartland Peninsula – rugged North Devon coast with dramatic cliffs, hidden coves, and wild beauty. A photographer’s dream that sees far fewer visitors than the usual Devon hotspots. 🍃 Wye Valley – a quiet gem on the border of England and Wales. Think riverside walks, ruined abbeys like Tintern Abbey, and forest trails that feel like stepping into a fairytale. 🏰 Bamburgh Beach – wide golden sands stretching beneath the towering walls of Bamburgh Castle. It’s truly majestic, atmospheric, and often overlooked. Have you visited any of these yet? • • • • #visitengland #england #uktravel #travelguide #bucketlistadventures
