In its first full week, the album rose to number four on the Billboard 200, moving 57,000 equivalent album units. It marked Beyoncé's eighth solo top 10 album on the Billboard 200. The performance has been identified as historically significant within festival history. Beyoncé became the first Black woman to headline Coachella, and the set itself introduced a large-scale reinterpretation of Black collegiate culture on a global stage. The wardrobe for Homecoming was developed through a collaboration between stylist Marni Senofonte, Timothy White, and Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing.
