Power BI es una herramienta que, literalmente, te puede cambiar la vida 🚀 Power BI es una herramienta de microsoft especializada en la creación de informes. Podemos utilizar esta herramienta localmente, con power bi desktop, o en la nube, con power bi service. Mi recomendación es que crees los reportes con power bi desktop, ya que no está limitado el editor de consultas power query, el cual nos ayudará a automatizar el procesamiento de datos. Con esta herramienta podemos obtener datos de diversas fuentes, como por ejemplo desde un archivo excel, motor SQL, una página web, un erp como sap, sharepoint, entre otras. Con power query, que es una herramienta dentro de power bi, podemos crear flujos de procesamiento de datos. Esto quiere decir, que crearemos una estructura de procesamiento, que estará entre la carga de los datos y la forma final que necesitamos que tenga la data. Esta estructura quedará guardada, por lo que cada vez que ingresen nuevos datos y actualicemos el documento, los ajustará automáticamente. Finalmente, podemos publicar este reporte en la nube en power bi service. Si nuestra licencia es gratis, quedará público, pero si es al menos pro, lo podremos compartir privadamente con otras personas con licencia al menos pro.
