Confusion isn’t from God. 🙏 So many of us think that if we just think harder, analyze more, or replay the situation one more time in our heads, we’ll finally find clarity. But the Bible tells us something different. “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace” (1 Corinthians 14:33). If your mind feels chaotic, anxious, and restless—it’s not coming from Him. Clarity doesn’t come from overthinking. It comes from nearness. When you draw close to God through His Word, through prayer, through stillness, and through obedience in the small things, the fog starts to lift. Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Notice it doesn’t say a stadium light that shows your entire future. It’s a lamp—just enough light for the next step. The enemy loves confusion. He uses it to distract you, delay you, and make you doubt what God already spoke. He whispers, “What if you heard wrong? What if you’re not called? What if you miss it?” But God doesn’t lead with chaos and pressure. He leads with peace. Even when the step is stretching, there’s a settled assurance in your spirit. Sometimes the reason we feel confused is because we’re too far from the source. We’re listening to too many voices—culture, social media, friends, fear, our own emotions. But clarity comes when we quiet the noise and sit at His feet. “THERE ARE 40,000 CONTRADICTIONS IN THE BIBLE!?” 🤯 Both Atheists and Muslims use this argument to discredit the validity of God’s word - in the HOPE that you won’t actually research these proposed “contradictions.” If you study the Bible, you’ll see that this long list of 40,000 “contradictions” is just a baseless appeal to sensationalism. It’s just an attempt to shock people with a really big number. It’s not factual, honest and lacks academic integrity. When you see what looks like a contradiction - before making any conclusions, you must look at context, language, history and translation; and true theologians have done this for many years. Whenever we see two or more passages of Scripture that appear to contradict each other, we need to study the passages in more detail. We must make sure we are examining the same event, do not take words out of context, recognize any figures of speech or poetic language being used, and be aware of any translational issues of words or phrases, from the Hebrew, Aramaic, or Greek into English. There’s a double standard that goes on amongst Bible critics: you can say something about the Bible and attack it and be wrong and your credibility will still remain intact; and yet you can attack the Bible and the Bible comes out to be right but the Bible’s credibility still doesn’t go up? There are viable and intellectually plausible answers to every supposed Bible contradiction and error. Who believes the Bible truely is the very Word of God!?
