High heat literally melts the hair shaft. 👉 Always use heat protectant and keep tools under 350°F (180°C). 3.Skipping protein & bond repair Bleach breaks the internal structure of hair. Moisture alone is NOT enough. 👉 Use bond builders (Olaplex/K18/Redken Acidic) + light protein masks. 4.Toning too aggressively or too often Too much toner = buildup + dryness + breakage (especially with strong developers). 👉 Demi-permanent only, low processing time, and space it out. 5. Her bf decided to help her go back blonde and rid the blue by putting her hair in foils with 20v bleach and left it in forever.
