अब सिर्फ चालान नहीं, FIR भी हो सकती है BNS Section 281 rash or negligent driving से जुड़ा offence है. यह cognizable और bailable offence है. इसका मतलब है कि अगर कोई व्यक्ति serious rash driving, wrong-side driving, stunt driving, dangerous driving या public safety को risk में डालने वाली driving करता है, तो police सिर्फ challan तक limited नहीं रहेगी. ऐसे मामलों में सीधी FIR register की जा सकती है. लेकिन हर traffic violation automatically FIR नहीं बनेगा.
