A book that consists of completely self-made parts. Self-made paper on the inside in a beautiful blue and self-colored paper on the outside for the cover. I have to admit, I've had a weakness for blue for a few years now and it really wasn't always like this. I really love this deep blue cover color. Basically, I really like the result. But now comes another project color... but which one? Orange? Green? Or my all-time favorite purple? Ein Buch, das aus komplett selbst hergestellten Teilen besteht. First attaching a layer of woven mesh called mull, then adding fabric endbands that will match the covers, and finally gluing a thin spine lining for additional reinforcement. (lol *your) My favorite genre of book is custom made and hand bound 📚 I started bookbind at the age of 14 or 15 and have been consistently making all of my own for the past 6 years. In general I am unhappy with the quality and design of sketchbooks on the market. Bookbinding is one of my favorite self taught skills because it allows you to customize your book to exactly what you are looking for. If you are into journals or sketchbooks I would highly recommend giving bookbinding a try!

I remade one of my past books with thicker paper and slightly different colored leaves. I noticed that there was less signature shifting, so I will stick with my 120 gsm paper instead of 90 :)
