annnddd she’s done (mostly) 🥹🩷✨ i realize i still have a few touchups to do that i missed in the not so great lighting last night 😅 but no biggie, the biggest part is done & i’m SO HAPPY w how it turned out. bryce & i put a lot of work & effort & time into this table & we’re so proud of it 🥰 we were planning on doing the entire top cover as emma, but decided against it. we felt it would be too busy bc i like to decorate my coffee table so theres always stuff on it. we might still add the bow border at some point but as of rn i love it as is 🫶🏻 when we got this table off fb marketplace it was scratched, faded, had tons of tears in it & now it has a new life in my little home library 🧚‍♀️ #booktable #bookcoffeetable #bookfurniture #janeausten #homelibrary

wowww i rly pissed a lot of yall off in part 1 😅 i hope if you’re desperate to find your own book table in its original condition, that you find one someday & you can keep it exactly as is forever 🥰🫶🏻 anyways! part 2 of “ruining” our thrifted book table is here ✨✨✨ i was going to try to put everything into just one last part but we didn’t finish like i hoped we would & i wanted to give an update. we used a projector to trace the spines on & then we mixed like… 15 paints together to try to get the exact color matches of the images on the books. some were a hit & some aren’t perfect but thats okay. we used our cricut for the puffin in bloom on the bottoms bc we couldn’t find a good gold paint match. we’ll probably also use it for the titles, haven’t decided yet 🤷🏻‍♀️ still lots of touch ups & things to do, next part will be the completely finished product & i can’t wait 🥹 thank you to those of you that have been so kind, even if its not something you would have done. if you left a nice comment in the midst of all of the hateful/negative ones, i appreciate you sm 🩷 #booktable #coffeetable #bookish #bookfurniture #homelibrary
