Your bookkeeping software is letting your clients delete transactions and erase the evidence. Let me say that again. In QBO, a business owner (or a lazy bookkeeper) can delete a transaction and the audit trail disappears with it. Gone. No record of who did it, when it happened, or what was there. I have personally gone into a QBO file and messed it up. If I can do it, your clients absolutely can. Xero does not let that happen. You void. You don't delete. The trail stays intact.
