Listen, I 100% understand that not every book is for every person, and just because I love something doesn’t mean you have to love it too! But recommending or loaning out a book that I connected really deeply with still feels like making a little piece of my soul vulnerable to criticism 😅 I’m actually really lucky, because the person I recommend books to the most (my sister) has similar taste to mine, so we usually end up bonding over books we’ve both read instead of disagreeing!
