Boxing Footwork You Need to Learn ⬇️ Champs, I believe that if you master these 3, you can get in and out of any situation in the boxing ring 🥊 Footwork Breakdown: • L-Step: both feet move to form an L-shape, front foot pushes off the ground, rear foot steps to the side, helps you quickly change direction, find a new angle, especially when under pressure. Can be done from the same spot or taking 1-2 steps back. • Z-Step: like an L-step but more advanced, step back and slightly inward, front foot drives your rotation, shift weight to change angle, can be done after a slip or right away, depending on the opponent’s positioning. • Switch Step: slip and lean on your lead foot, bring all weight down, rear foot moves forward to take the front position, shift your weight fully, throw your combination, slip again, repeat on the other side. Works inside and outside. - Recap: combine all three steps while throwing combinations.
