Part 2 of JBs lesson #1 its not a physical or knowledge problem There are 7 parts to understanding how to improve and it happens in this exact sequence. 1. Willingness to learn and change the current environment The biggest improvement I see from golfers is when they say "F&*k it im sick of being bad im going to do something about it!" Sounds simple and the minute you make a decision to change the needle is now working in your favour. This is not a question of can you do it..... Its a question of do you want to do what it takes to change?

In golf there is pattern disruptions. Different holes. Different hazards. Different wind directions. Different clubs. All of this is to play with your brain. Your brain is a pattern-detecting machine. The moment something feels predictable, the brain gets comfortable. This is key for golf because it’s about controlling your attention to pull off the shot. The best golfers disrupt the pattern on purpose to regain control. • Change tempo when timing feels off • Step back instead of forcing the shot • Hit a different club when ego wants distance Today we improved because getting the right kind of info.

Be honest. After one bad shot, your internal dialogue changes. Now you’re steering the club. Now you’re protecting. Now you’re tight. Your mechanics didn’t suddenly disappear. Your focus did. Try this before every shot: Ask one question only — “Where exactly am I landing this?” Not don’t slice it. Not don’t chunk it. Just a clear target. The brain performs better with direction than fear. Pressure is the receipt for growth. Your growth isn’t tested when things are easy. It’s tested when pressure shows up… and you keep going anyway. When the noise says stop. When the numbers say it’s over. When everyone else would quit. That’s not the end. That’s the checkpoint. Don’t stop when everything around you looks finished. That’s usually where the breakthrough is hiding. Keep going.
