The Broadmoor is a luxury hotel and resort located in the Old Broadmoor neighborhood of Colorado Springs, Colorado. It’s a proud member of Historic Hotels of America through the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and has hosted heads of state, celebrities, athletes, and business leaders. Nestled at the base of Cheyenne Mountain, the main resort sits 6,230 feet above sea level and just five miles southwest of downtown Colorado Springs. Maybe the BEST GOLF COURSE in Colorado The Broadmoor features two Championship 18 hole courses: 1. The East Course: This course is famous for hosting major tournaments, including the U.S. Women’s Open and the U.S. Senior Open. Designed by Donald Ross in 1918 and later modified by Robert Trent Jones Sr., it is known for its wide fairways, fast greens, and beautiful views of the Cheyenne Mountain foothills. The East Course has a traditional layout and offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for golfers of all levels. 2. The West Course: Opened in 1964 and also influenced by Robert Trent Jones Sr., the West Course has a more rugged, mountainous terrain. It is shorter than the East Course but requires precision due to its narrow fairways and dramatic elevation changes. Golfers enjoy breathtaking views and a challenging layout that tests shot-making abilities. The fairways and greens were in immaculate condition even this late in the year. Back at @thebroadmoor for year two of our anniversary staycation tradition ✨ There’s just something about this place — the winding hallways, the old-school elegance, the views, the way it feels like its own little world tucked in the mountains. Dinner at the Penrose Room was unreal again. The sushi alone is worth the trip (the Eagles Nest Ranch Wagyu Beef Tataki Roll… I have no words), and the dirty martinis with stuffed parmesan olives might honestly be the best in the city. We could’ve sat there all night. I love that we get to escape here for a couple days every year — dress up, slow down, and pretend we’re on some fancy vacation even though we’re only 30 minutes from home. 🧳 Travels with WDW Bathrooms 🧳 🫧 From time to time, I find myself in very cool, non-Disney places. These locales sometimes have interesting bathrooms and I want to share that with you. The more bathrooms the better, right? So here’s my first stop in this series: 🏔️ The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 🏔️ 🫧 The Broadmoor is a 5-star resort tucked up against Pikes Peak. This place really feels like you are stepping into another world- the view truly looks like where Padme and Anakin got married in Star Wars. In addition to its luxury, what makes this hotel special is its history. For example, the owner was not a Prohibition fan, so he accrued hundreds of bottles of liquor to get himself through! Those very same liquor bottles now line the hallway to the lobby restroom. 🫧 Speaking of my favorite topic, these restrooms are some of the most opulent I have ever seen. They all have thick wallpaper, ornate mirrors, hand towels, and branded soap. And some, like the last restroom in this video, have individually hand-laid mosaic tiles! My favorite detail though? The golden bee wallpaper in the pub, The Golden Bee. 🐝 This pub is a *literal* English pub; it was brought over to the US plank by plank!

Our community is incredible.
